International Professional Rodeo Association

The International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA) has produced rodeos for over 50 years across the U.S. and Canada, the IPRA produces the International Finals Rodeo as well. The IFR is held the third week in January at the State Fair Arena in Oklahoma City, OK. The IFR is where the Top 15 cowboys and cowgirls in the seven standard rodeo events compete for World Championships as well as the Crowning of Miss Rodeo USA.

Wright Library, 2101 Exchange, is the jewel of the Metropolitan Library System. Wright Library opened in 1925, making it the oldest library in the Metropolitan System.  It is fully automated with two public computers.  For those with wireless device the library has WiFi.  Wright has books, magazines, books-on-tape, books-on-CD, reference materials, and music CDs.
