About Stockyards City
Stockyards City Main Street is a 501(c)3 entity with a mission to unify the community through preserving and promoting our western heritage. Our vision is to create an active tourist and business destination by keeping western values alive through providing unique cultural experiences.
Our passion, true cowboy determination and the great American west deep in our heart drives our mission. We are proud to educate the public on history, preservation, culture and architecture as it relates to the community. The architectural design and culture of Stockyards City hasn't changed since 1910, although our passion to give back to the community and educate our youth has grown quite extensively!
Stockyards City Main Street is proud to be a part of Oklahoma Main Street, the State Coordinating Program of Main Street America. This is done through local support and volunteerism within the Four Points of Main Street America: Economic Vitality, Design, Organization and Promotion. These engaged committees create the positive community transformation that not only helps tell the story of the Historic Stockyards City, but provides pathways for its future growth and success as the first Urban Main Street in Oklahoma.
TO CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS THESE EFFORTS, please contact the Stockyards City Main Street office at [email protected] or call (405) 235-7267 to learn more about our current community programs and efforts.
Your tax deductible donations help fund preservation efforts, and special projects throughout the year.
